My fourth graders love anything that have to do with technology. One major way that I integrate technology into my classroom is by using my SMART Board.
I can take a very, dare I say it, dry lesson and create a fun activity on the SMART Board. Doing this instantly engages the class. One website I have used is The SMART Exchange. If you have a SMART Board, be sure to check out this site. It has a lot of great resources that other teachers have created for free.
How do you incorporate Technology into your Reading class? I'd love to hear new suggestions!
Don't forget to check out the linky giveaway.
I love Storia as well, just started using it this year. I love that they have interactive features with some of the books as well.

Hi Bethany,
ReplyDeleteI actually don't have a SmartBoard in my room, but I do use Smart Notebook on our macs ALL the time for a number of activities with my little friends! I totally agree though, anything that becomes more interactive on the SmartBoard makes it so much more exciting! I know I heard of Storia before but never actually looked into it...but I plan on doing so before summer is over to get those 5 free books to use with my little friends!
Thanks so much for linking up with us!
